Limb-O
The Limb-O is a circle circuit, accommodating all of your needs, including low-flow. The streamlined design minimizes the clutter of a two-limbed circle circuit with these important additional benefits:
- LIGHT WEIGHT - Less plastic means less weight and torque on the patient’s airway management device; Limb-
O weighs 34% less than coaxial circle circuits and 25% less than traditional circle circuits.1
- LOWER COMPLIANCE – The presence of a septum in Limb-
O decreases compliance in the circuit to significantly increase delivered volume . . . without sacrificing drape.
- THERMALLY EFFICIENT – Bench testing suggests the transfer of heat from the expiratory to the inspiratory limb of 6.2°C at 4L/min flow rates1.
Transport to the PACU or ICU
With the addition of our Limb-O Transport System, Limb-O becomes a Mapleson-D Transport Circuit, a safe, cost-effective alternative to a self-inflating manual resuscitator.
- Attach oxygen tubing to inspiratory limb
- Attach patient-dedicated Adjustable Pressure Limiting (APL) valve to expiratory limb
- Reuse the patient’s breathing bag by attaching it to the APL valve
In the ICU
Why pay for a fresh circuit set-up when your patient reaches the ICU? With Limb-O the patient’s anesthesia circuit becomes the ventilator circuit.
- A 24” expandable hose accommodates ventilator hook up on all 72” Limb-
O circuits
- The Vital Signs HCH product line, coupled with the heat transfer properties of the common inspiratory/expiratory wall, provides you with a truly efficient method of passively heating and humidifying your patient
- See Limb-
O Data Sheet TD031 for specifications and performance characteristics
