Breas PV10i™ Intelligent CPAP

The PV10i recognises individual fl ow patterns, and by using a highly advanced processing technique, treats the symptom before the event occurs. Overall improvement in sleep quality, greater comfort, fewer apneas and arousals are achieved due to several key features:
  • Intra-breath analysis, rather than a breath-to-breath comparison.
  • Very gentle pressure steps (max 0.125 cmH2O)
  • Low mean pressure
  • Early detection of sleep related breathing disorders (SRBD)
  • Robust against artefacts and mask leakages
  • Quiet, less than 30 dBA

PV 10i, The pattern of sleep to come

The BREAS PV 10i is a sophisticated, yet easy to use self-adjusting CPAP device, that effectively identifies and treats obstructed breathing at a reduced mean pressure level compared to conventional CPAP. By applying an advanced processing technique, similar to voice recognition, an individual’s flow template is created from a vast number of flow models. The individual’s flow pattern is constantly examined and the model parameters are extracted 20 times per second. They are then compared to a set of pre-stored templates in order to decide whether and how the pressure should be adjusted.

Clever design provides more practical benefi ts to the patient and clinician:
  • Easy to use with different mask types
  • Can switch from self-adjusting to conventional CPAP
  • No initiation time is required for device calibration
  • Patient compliance memory

Confidence and freedom to travel with the unit provides further benefit to the patient’s well-being:
  • Lightweight at only 1.7kg/3.7 lbs
  • Universal power supply
  • Integral alarm clock
  • Automatic altitude compensation
